HAKK
Hook concept
BRIEF

Design 3 hooks made from three different materials but coming from the same concept
SOLUTION

In this project, I designed a jewelry hook concept, of three hooks made from three different materials; Plastic, Steel and Tree. The hooks are designed to be hung in the bathroom.
CONCEPT

HAKK is a Hook concept that highlights and celebrates the unique qualities of its material. Each of them has evolved from a main form and are made of three primary parts of varying lengths. They all have an element of movement to them, since at least two of the parts can be twisted, working both as a playful and functional detail. The hook concept, creates rooms to put in rings, earrings etc, while the subtle notches makes it possible to hang around necklaces and bracelets.
HAKK - ACRYLIC

The Acrylic version has a lighter and more feminine expression to it. They are three different units, but are meant to be placed together on the wall in the way the user wishes too (see the picture above). Each of the units can be twisted around. You can either use the room inside the cylinders or hang jewelries around them.
HAKK - STEAL

The steal edition HAKK hook boasts a rugged, industrial aesthetic. The central portion of the hook is intended for mounting on a wall, while the upper and lower sections can be rotated to reveal additional space for storing jewelry.
HAKK - WOOD

The Wood version has a warmer, softer and more childish look to it. The longest part is attached to the wall, and the two outermost parts can be twisted.
